We have excellent facilities and equipment and high standards in care and development, which has been highlighted in our Ofsted reports.  In January we were assessed by Kent County Council as to our effectiveness in delivering early years care (ECERS - Early Childhood Environment Rating Scheme) and we are delighted to report that in comparison to other settings in Kent we are above average in all areas – a great achievement for a small village pre-school.

Our morning sessions include indoor and outdoor activities, and our staff are fully committed to providing children with varied and stimulating learning through play in a warm and friendly environment.

For Term 5 our Theme was 'Dinosaurs' and the children made and painted a very big volcano.  The role play area became a Dinosaur Swamp, and we had lots of baby dinosaurs hatching from our eggs.

For those nearing their time to start Primary School, we offer extended sessions to help create a school environment and ease their transition into this next phase of education.

We have a staff ratio of no less than 1:8 for children over 3 years of age and 1:4 for children under 3 years of age, which ensures all children have a high level of attention at all times.

Being a registered charity, the pre-school is run by a Committee made up of parents and carers who work hand in hand to ensure the smooth running of the pre-school.  All parents/carers etc., are welcome to put their names forward to join the committee.
